If your child is beginning his/her journey through the
Kindergarten years this September, you should receive a letter similar to this message.
To aid your child's transition to the school environment, each Junior
Kindergarten student and their parents are invited to visit the
school during the first week of September according to a specific scheduled appointment.
Most students will start regular daily attendance commencing on the first day
of school, Tuesday,
September 8th. You will be informed of your child's start date.

NOTE:
- For any transportation changes or updates, please call our Transportation Department at 613-224-8800.
- Orientation visits will take place at the time and place indicated in a letter sent to one parent. (Please call after Aug. 31st if you need to reschedule: 613-591-3256.)
- Information (eg. phone #’s) provided at registration will be updated at this time.
SCHOOL REQUIRES:
- a full-size child's backpack (with minimal zippers)
- two wallet-size photographs - a close-up of your child’s face
- a 4x6 family photograph - to be posted on the "Class' Family Tree"
- indoor SCHOOL shoes (no laces please) – to stay at school
- an extra set of clothing in a labelled Ziploc bag – to stay at school
- a yoga mat & small (crib-size) blanket to use during "Quiet Time"
- School activity fee (payable online*) *Please register for online payment service via the Holy Redeemer School website after Sept.1*
