Dear Parents and Guardians,
Please be aware that in the morning you are responsible for your child until a teacher is on duty in the yard. Please do not leave your child unattended. Teachers are only on duty at 8:15 until the bell at 8:30 am. Teachers can be identified by their orange/yellow vest. Please do not assume that any adult in the yard is a teacher. Children are being left without proper supervision because parents have assumed that the adults by the school are teachers.
It is a parent or guardian's responsibility to stay with their child, preferably behind the pylons until the duty teacher is in the yard.
Thank you for your care and consideration in this regard.
PS. The EDP (school daycare) staff are only responsible for the children in their program and are not legally responsible for other children left in the yard with them. The Daycare staff are permitted to be inside the boundary of the schoolyard only with children registered in the EDP program.
