Dear Parents,
This Lent at Holy Redeemer School we will help to
promote the values of sacrifice and giving by supporting The Shepherds of
Good Hope and Escuela
San Jose Las Flores in El Salvador. Any money we raise will help those in need and we hope to help equip a school science lab, as well as set up a chicken
cooperative, for students in El Salvador.
The following is a list of special activities
planned at Holy Redeemer:
March 5- Ash Wednesday Liturgy- 8:45 in the gym = Lent begins
March 21- "Hats for Hope" > Please donate a loonie or toonie to raise funds for the needy at The Shepherds of Good Hope
April 7-17 – Collection of used household items
for the Shepherds of Good Hope (list to follow)
April 11 - "Flower Power" for San Jose Las Flores- Students can dress up in their best floral outfits and bring in a
loonie or toonie for our friends in El Salvador
April 14-17 - Easter Basket Raffle Tickets on
sale- $1 each, or 3 for $2
April 17 -
Stations of the Cross in preparation for April 18 - Good Friday
